Alison Clarke is Edmonton’s writer and novelist. She is children’s author as well as a writer of young adult literature. She won 2016, Writer of the Year at the 2016 Diversity Magazine Awards.  She is a cancer survivor and very reflective about her journey as a writer.  In this video, she shares the importance of listening to your own voice, her journey to publishing and what it is like being a writer in Canada.

Her books include The Adventures of Eli, Eli Goes To The Moon and the Sisterhood Trilogy. Alison Clarke is a friend of LCCMedia. Alison is currently working with the University of Calgary to produce an anthology of poetry which will be released in 2021.
