This pandemic has had a global effect, from severe economic, social, and political, to cultural consequences on human life. Many of us continue to endure a great deal of hardship, stress, and inconvenience. Our message is simple: we hear you, we see you — you are not alone.
The emergence of the pandemic significantly impacted the healthcare system, testing its capabilities and weaknesses, also, affecting the physical and mental health of front-line healthcare workers. With ongoing vaccination efforts across the country, we may well be on the path to end the scourge of this very nasty disease.
In this magazine for women, we celebrate healthcare workers for their dedication and selflessness. We talk to business and political leaders to get their perspective on how they are navigating these trying times.
