Queen Mercy Hair Rules Edmonton | Business Profile

Spread the love

She loves what she does and with a growing customer base, every one is talking about Queen Mercy. In her own way, she is defining the new trend in African fashion and beauty. With Afro hair styles trending daily, the appreciation for Black colour grows daily.

With a home business that seemingly grew exponentially during the pandemic, upon your arrival, you are guided to sanitize your hands. And your face masks remain on mandatorily for the duration of your stay.

Queen Mercy moved to Edmonton to join her Canadian husband in 2015 from Ondo State in Nigeria. Ondo State is in western Nigeria. She was a business woman who dealt in fabrics, accessories and hair products.

Home hair stylists are quite predominant in Edmonton today. You find many of these entrepreneurs have their basement set us as salons, massage rooms, nail treatment centres and so on. Many business owners who choose to work from home do so for various reasons. The predominant cause can be attributed to child care.

Other places Black people can get their hair done are; Chrome Spa Salon, Lovella Hair & Beauty, Mama Afro Beauty, Bella360, Zarah Hair & Beauty Salon. Queen Mercy can create any of the styles on Pinterest. She told LCCMEDIA some of her customers found her on Instagram. Her Instagram handle is Queen Mercy Hair. When we asked her how her business fared in pandemic, she told us “People cancel easily. The business situation is tough, unreliable and uncertain. It is also strange that you cannot see peoples faces because they have to wear masks’.
