In Swahili, Afya means health and the state of being free of physical or psychological illness.

In commitment to Ribbon Rouge’s mandate to raise the voices of people who experience poorer health outcomes as a result of racialized health disparities based on the social determinants of health, join us on March 18 for the Afya Equity Hub.

The day will feature empowering keynote speakers, entertaining performances, and inspiring panel discussions from experts in health and social justice as they explore how we can achieve health equity in the African, Caribbean, and Black communities.

Cultural food and snacks will be provided.

They will also be giving away swag bags, amazon gift cards. There will be raffle draws and interactive activities with prizes to be won on that day.
