The Iri Ji Festival, also known as the New Yam Festival, is a significant cultural event in Igbo tradition, marking the end of the farming season and the beginning of the harvest. It’s a time to give thanks for a bountiful harvest and celebrate the earth’s abundance with family, friends, and community.
