FREE TAX CLINICS RETURN TO SERVE EDMONTON & CALGARY RESIDENTS IN 2025
Edmonton, AB – February 2025 – The Financial Empowerment Initiative (FEI), in partnership with Africa Centre, Ladies Corner Magazine, AIMCo Foundation for Financial Education, and Dexteritas, is pleased to announce the return of its FREE tax clinics in Edmonton and Calgary. These clinics provide much-needed support for individuals and families with modest incomes to file their taxes accurately and on time.
Edmonton Tax Clinic: March 6 – April 30, 2025
📍 Mondays & Tuesdays: Orange Hub, Room 435 (10045 156 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5P 2P7)
📍 Thursdays & Fridays: Africa Centre (1108 St Albert Trail NW #106, Edmonton, AB T5L 4G4)

Calgary Tax Clinic: March 3 – April 30, 2025
📍 Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays (10 AM – 3 PM): Calgary Full Gospel Church (917 14 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2R 0N8)
📍 Mondays: Dexteritas Professional Corporation (7909 Flint Road SE Unit 202, Calgary, AB T2H 1G3)

These free tax clinics are designed to assist individuals and families who fall within the income eligibility criteria:
- 1 Person – Maximum income: $35,000
- 2 People – Maximum income: $45,000
- 3 People – Maximum income: $47,500
- 4 People – Maximum income: $50,000
- 5 People – Maximum income: $52,500
- Each additional person: +$3,000
What to Bring:
✅ Government-issued ID
✅ Social Insurance Number (SIN)
✅ Bank information for direct deposit
✅ Tax slips (T4, T4E, T5, T5007, T4A, Pension, Tuition, etc.)
✅ Receipts for charitable donations, medical/dental expenses, child care, and RRSP contributions
What We Do Not Prepare:
❌ Self-employed or rental income taxes
❌ Farming & fishing income
❌ Bankruptcies & deceased persons’ returns
❌ Interest exceeding $1,000
❌ Any returns requiring a professional accountant
