Ladies Junction, Naked and Other Poems ~ Miss Purple Poetry
Where did I get it wrong?
Where did I go wrong?
What are my wrongs?
Please list them to me
You have ignored me
You have acted like you have made it
On your own
What did I do make you
Turn your back on me?
Please tell me why I got it wrong?
I need to know
All I have ever wanted was the best for you
My thoughts for you are perfect
For your peace and success
It was me
There for you
When you were broken hearted
I was there for you
When you failed
And you struggled with depression
And disappointments
Loneliness, heartbreaks, insignificance
I was there for you
When you struggled with life’s pressures
I have always been by your side
I have never left you
I never will
I was there when you were broke
I can never get tired of being there for you
I still your storms and rebuke the devourer
I heal your wounds
The heavens have been commanded to bless you
I have always been there for you
Not that you ever noticed
I am your shepherd
The restorer of your soul
I have never left you
Even when you thought
I was not near
I have shared your every walk and step
Your grief was mine
Your sadness was mine
Your pain was mine
Your tears were mine
I have been your Father
You hid in me when
You needed rest
I have never disappointed you
I am the only faithful friend you have
Yet you ignore me
You know that breaks me
I want to spend time with you
I want to be with you
I love you dear child.
But just where did I get it wrong?
Thanks
Thank you for all you are
I need you to know
I love you more than you will ever know
So I am sending you warm kisses and hugs
So when you feel any less than you should
You know we are here
Loving you
Little by little and all the way
You won’t need to doubt my devotion
and the promise of my love
You won’t need to search
long and hard
for my admiration
and the intensity of
My respect
You got it right here
Loving you
Little by little
Drip by drip
Day by day
In every way you need me to
I will.
Thank you, for everything
Naked
A Poem by Miss Purple Poetry
We rest our fears to peace
As we embrace our unspoken voices
We lay our inhibitions at the door
We lay our fears to rest
As we walk naked
Up this mountain
Called life.
Words must be spoken
Our voices brazen and bold
No more inhibitions
We breathe longing
For more and more
Reaching and reaching
Stretching and stretching
Feeling upon feeling
Till we lay empty
Naked
And Satisfied
Our duty is done
We found our collective
Voices
We rest in peace
Naked,
We have spoken.
Ladies Junction
We are mothers and sisters
Standing at the door of
Possibilities
We are girls and ladies
Standing at the door of hope
We are women
Of every race, culture and creed
Believing
That at this very junction
There is hope
A pathway into life
Stand with me
Stare into the future
With me
Do you see life?
Do you see hope?
I see doors opening.
I see a path to life.
