The Art Gallery of Alberta (AGA) is excited to announce a new partnership with Canadian Western Bank (CWB). As part of this new partnership, CWB will sponsor the AGA’s “Empowering Arts & Business” community market series, which showcases the work of local artists, artisans, creators and makers.
Founded in 2006, 5 Artists 1 Love began as a small gallery exhibition highlighting Black art and artists as a part of Black History Month. Over the years, the gathering has grown in popularity, expanding to showcase music and dance and becoming a Springtime staple in the local entertainment calendar. In 2022, the event moved to the Winspear Centre to accommodate the overwhelming response and sold out.
Side hustles vary from opportunities to experience, location to training, short-term to long-term gigs, etc. Some have found combining their skills and interests to be financially rewarding, as well as a time management technique. For example, an exercise enthusiast might become a dog walker on the side; a marketer might take on clients and manage their social media accounts; a hospitality server might moonlight as a bartender.
The Committee has determined that Edmonton does not currently require a local state of emergency and that the city’s fire risk is at a level that Edmonton Fire Rescue Services can manage. In addition to the Expo Centre, the City of Edmonton sent 12 crews and equipment to support the Entwistle, Yellowhead County and Strathcona County responses.

utilizing social innovation and project management skills to solve complex socioeconomic problems in
government and the non-profit sector.
Election Day is Monday, May 29, 2023. All voting places will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
