Nigeria marked her 60th Independence on the 3rd of October. Nigeria is the biggest economy in Africa, but one of the poorest nations in the world. Still beset by corruption and a lack of political will to create jobs for the millions of graduates, the Assistant Secretary-General of Nigeria, Prince Adedayo Ojeleye spoke with LCCMEDIA on the joys and pains of being Nigerian in 2020.

Nigerian Canadian Association of Edmonton (NCAE) was established in 1985 as a Non-profit organization. It is aimed at bringing Nigerians that live in Edmonton and area together to showcase their culture and establish a good relationship with the Canadian community.

NCAE run programs such as language classes, cultural dance classes, Newcomers to Canada assistance, traditional cooking classes and a youth forum among others to showcase and promote a healthy relationship among our members and Canadian communities.
The association runs and participates in events: The Annual Summer BBQ, Heritage Days Festival, Cultural Day Celebration and Year-End Party.
