Taproot Edmonton created a survey to determine what issues are most important as we head into the Edmonton elections on October 18th. The Survey is called the People’s Agenda. It provides an avenue for people to find out which candidates they are most aligned with. Responses are saved anonymously so Taproot can do the aggregate analysis and reporting.
The first version of the People’s Agenda revealed that Edmontonians wanted their candidates for mayor and city council to focus on climate change, homelessness, the Police budget. The people also wanted to find out what the candidates wanted to do for transportation, quality of life and how they intend to manage the city’s budget with integrity.
