The Black Youth Leadership Program (BYLP), offered by the Africa Centre and funded by Canada Service Corps, is back for its third exciting cohort! This incredible initiative is designed to empower African descent youth in Alberta by providing them with leadership training, mentorship, and micro-grants of up to $5,000 to launch their own community-focused social initiatives.
If you are a young person passionate about making a difference, this is your chance to turn your ideas into reality. The BYLP is more than just funding — it’s a full-circle experience that helps you develop leadership skills, connect with peers, and make a tangible impact in your community.
Participants will receive:
