Sharing Your Stories with Tayo Elnathan ~Being Black in the Work Place

Spread the love

Tayo Elnathan takes it home with this incisive chat about being black in the work place in Alberta today. Some work places are diverse but at the top, diversity is mostly non-existent. So hearing Tayo and her guest Kemi Aina talk about race and the work place excited me. They talked about bringing racialized foods to the work, dealing with members of your clan at work and other pertinent issues about being black. Clan in this context means people who come from your home town or country. Hearing them personalize our collective experience as racialized women in an non racialized way is a testament to the skills of Tayo as an online presenter.

I am sure you will enjoy watching this!
