About the facilitator
Kris Ruiter is the Chief, Stakeholder Engagement, Procurement Assistance Canada (PAC) of Public Services and Procurement Canada in Western Region. The office’s role is to help companies learn what products & services the Government of Canada buys and how the procurement processes work. Kris is located in Calgary, Alberta and is responsible for the Prairies, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.
Kris brings a variety of both public and private sector experience to the role with PAC. Kris graduated from Bishop’s University with a business degree. In his career he has been a golf pro, retail manager, branch manager of a bank, and held multiple positions within procurement with Public Services and Procurement Canada over the last 10 years. The variety of experience allows Kris to speak with businesses on multiple levels and help them navigate the federal procurement landscape.
