Ladies Corner Canada Media Limited is excited to announce the release of the Spring 2023 Edition. This edition celebrates the power of women in our community. As it is International Women’s Day and the theme is Every Woman Counts, we wanted to honour and celebrate the women and organizations that have helped us along the way to tell the stories of immigrant women.
Our angels include but are not limited to Ms. Nneka Otogbolu at the Edmonton Community Foundation, Dr. Simi Aderibigbe – the lead dentist at Flourish Dental, and author Lorrie Morales for the thousands of hours spent working on our copies and the entire team at LadiesCorner.ca. The dream to publish is only possible because you believe in the light we carry.

Our cover story is the Tina Thomas story.
Going into it, we didn’t really know what to expect. Now, we know many Black and Brown girls will read her story and know all is possible. She tells a story of her journey through her career to leadership. The Tina Thomas story resonates with every woman as it is the immigrant story.
