Cooking With Elders – A celebration of African descent food and culture
Cuisine is a critical part of culture and community-building practices in many African-descent communities. Join Africa Centre for Cooking With Elders, a special Black History Month (BHM) edition bringing seniors and youth together to share and learn about various cooking traditions within the African descent community.
From the process of making food, learning about the history of dishes and the ingredients used in meals, and participating in a reflective event celebrating the richness of cultural food and traditions.
