herConnects.ca is a dynamic initiative dedicated to supporting Black women and girls who migrate to Calgary from Africa and the Caribbean. This organization provides a wide range of free services aimed at fostering community integration, personal development, and professional growth. Mission and Vision
The mission of herConnects.ca is to create an inclusive, supportive environment where Black women and girls can thrive. The vision is to empower these women and girls by providing resources, education, and a strong sense of community.

1. Integration Support: herConnects.ca offers assistance with navigating life in Calgary, helping newcomers understand and access local services, healthcare, education, and housing.
2. Educational Workshops: Free workshops cover various topics, including career development, financial literacy, and personal wellness, tailored to the unique needs of Black women and girls.
