The Black Business Showcase and Newcomers Career and Opportunities Expo
The Black Business Showcase and Newcomers Career and Opportunities Expo, organized by Groupe 3737 and Innova Circle, is an exciting event taking place on October 26 from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Phase IV Stage, near Entrance 56, West Edmonton Mall.
This event is designed to support local small businesses and offer career opportunities for newcomers. Attendees will have the chance to network, explore business ventures, and potentially find their next job.
The event will feature a vibrant lineup of local Black-owned businesses, providing them a platform to showcase their products and services to the community. This is an excellent opportunity for both business owners and those seeking to engage with and support the growth of Black entrepreneurship.
In addition to the business showcase, the expo will provide career opportunities specifically geared towards newcomers, helping them connect with potential employers and access job openings that can further their career journeys in Canada. It’s a great initiative aimed at helping newcomers navigate the employment landscape while also fostering a supportive network within the Black business community.
The expo is supported by various influential partners, including RBC, the Africa Centre, BDC, West Edmonton Mall, and the Government of Canada’s Supporting Black Canadian Communities Initiative. These partnerships emphasize the importance of collective efforts in promoting economic opportunities and success within marginalized communities.
This event promises to be a dynamic day filled with opportunities for growth, collaboration, and networking, open to the public and encouraging everyone to attend and take advantage of what’s on offer.
