EDMONTON, AB – LCCMedia, in collaboration with Miss Purple Media, is proud to present the 2025 Candidate Forum Series, a dynamic platform for Edmontonians to hear directly from mayoral and city council candidates ahead of the upcoming Edmonton municipal elections. Starting Friday, August 15, 2025, and running through Friday, August 22, 2025, these forums will be broadcast live on YouTube (@LCCMedia1) and will feature candidates from all wards, including those running for the mayoral seat.
The forums aim to promote transparency, civic engagement, and informed decision-making by offering residents the opportunity to learn about the candidates’ priorities, visions, and plans for the future of Edmonton.

- Mayoral Candidate Forum:
Date: Monday, August 18, 2025
Time: 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM MST - Ward-Specific Forums:
Forums for all 12 wards will take place from August 15–22, 2025, with two forums scheduled most evenings.
For example:- Ward Pihesiwin: Friday, August 15 (5:30 PM – 7:00 PM)
- Ward Sipiwiyiniwak: Friday, August 15 (7:30 PM – 9:00 PM)
- Ward Sspomitapi & Ward Tastawiyiniwak: Saturday, August 16 (10:00 AM – 1:30 PM, back-to-back)

Hosts
The forums will be hosted by Tee Adeyemo and Mary Thomas, who are well-known for their commitment to community dialogue and civic awareness.
