to thank volunteers and supporters.
On his re-election bid in Edmonton-Southwest, Honourable Madu has faith that South-west constituents will vote him back into office. He has been a competent representative and an effective, committed cabinet minister on their behalf. First, schools have been and are being built where there is need and secondly, infrastructure such as roads are being addressed. The widening of Anthony Henday and the $120 million dollars in provincial capital funding for the widening of Terwillegar Drive all the way to Windermere Boulevard are going on as we speak.
Her mission is to leave a better world for our children than the one we inherited from our parents. She will do everything in her power to achieve this.

Ali has had the privilege of running the biggest community-based soccer tournament (the Duggan Mother’s Day Tournament) in Canada for the last 15 years. He has been part of the Edmonton Sports Council, Edmonton Minor Soccer Association (EMSA), Harry Ainlay Music Parent Association.
He was President of Duggan Community League for ten years, Treasurer of the Alberta Association of Clinic Managers.

Ben appreciates other contestants stepping up and contributing to the democratic process and is friends/acquaintances with all the contestants running in Edmonton South-West. Like most in the black community, Ben appreciates Kaycee Madu’s glass-ceiling-breaking efforts. Ben isn’t interested in attacking people but rather advancing sound research-informed-policies and supporting a Rachel Notley-led NDP to deliver good jobs, good public healthcare, good schools, and a diversified jobs economy.
At a well-attended media event today amongst friends and family, three-term trustee Nathan Ip announced that he will be seeking the NDP nomination in Edmonton-South West. Ip argued that he was the only one with a proven track record to defeat incumbent Kaycee Madu and the UCP.
