Anew | Poetry by  Colleen Jantzen

Spread the love

Last year, we launched El Nura, a magazine for Christian women. We would love to create and publish El Nura again in 2022, but we have faced some challenges. We had plans for an Easter edition, unfortunately, that was not possible.

Colleen R. Janzen sent in this poem for El Nura, we have decided to publish Anew here with Colleen’s consent as we start Easter week.

Anew

Every breath

Your breath in me

A chance to begin

Anew

Every breath

Your breath in me

A rebirth

A resurrection

Let these dry bones live again I pray

Poppa I breathe You in Shape my days my ways Fill my hopes my dreams with

Your

Breath

Your

New life

Your

Salvation

Working itself out

In

Me

Every breath

Your breath in me

A chance to begin

Anew
