Video Report: Calgary Author Moji Taiwo writes adventure books for children

Moji Taiwo is the author of the autobiography, “I Give Because I’m Blessed – I’m Blessed Because I Give: A Chronicle of an Immigrant’s Journey,” which details her life in Canada. She has also written a new children’s picture book series titled “Grandma and Her Munchkins – An Everyday Adventure,” available in both English and French. The first book in the series, “At the Playground and Park,” is now available on Amazon in both paperback and eBook formats.

Moji is a mother of three adult children and a grandmother to three delightful boys, who inspired the adventure book series. She spent over three decades in the Youth Justice system in Alberta, Canada, where she made a significant impact on the lives of adolescents and their families through teaching, training, coaching, and mentoring young staff.

When she isn’t writing, Moji enjoys gardening during Calgary’s spring and summer seasons and embracing the crisp, wintery outdoors in the colder months. She also facilitates life skills classes for youth and parenting skills classes for adults.

A passionate community contributor, Moji loves giving back, particularly through activities that involve learning, teaching, growing, and having fun. Additionally, she is a professional model and the creator and host of the YouTube TV show, “The Immigrant Experience Show” (#Tieshow).
