A Celebration of Art, Fashion, Music and Leadership
On February 28, 2026, Kayanou in partnership with the Yoruba Cultural Association of Edmonton presents Black Culture Re-Imagined — a vibrant and intentional gathering designed to celebrate creativity, identity, and leadership within the Black community.
This is not just another event. It is a space where young people gather to reflect, express, and reimagine what Black culture means in today’s world.
Hosted at The Orange Hub (Room 296), 10045 – 156 Street NW, Edmonton, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, this experience is specially curated for youth and young adults aged 15–27 years.
Why “Re-Imagined”?
Black culture is dynamic. It evolves. It influences global conversations in art, fashion, music, and leadership. Yet, it is also rooted in heritage, identity, and shared history.
Black Culture Re-Imagined invites participants to explore:
How culture shapes confidence How creativity drives leadership How identity influences impact How the next generation can tell its own story
This event creates room for dialogue, reflection, and bold expression.

The afternoon will feature an engaging keynote and panel discussion with dynamic leaders and creatives including:
