She is an award-winning independent journalist who believes that we should promote and share positive news about our fellow Africans. She commented that nine out of every ten news about Africans are positive. We should share and promote that. Western media would focus on the negative, they would want to pin that negative jargon narrative on all Africans out there.
She argued that as black people we owe it to ourselves to spin our own narrative.
