Black Excellence Focus | Dr. Domale Keys
Dr. Domale Keys is an assistant professor in the Department of Women’s and Gender Studies.
Hailing from Nigeria, her research focuses on the experiences of Black women with violence and how they organize against it – stemming from her experience growing up in a community where organizing was their only way of having their voices heard by the government and others who sought to oppress them. Keys also looks at how nonviolent organization can create lasting change for communities.
