Dr. Modupe Adeyemo Oyetade writes children’s literature. She started writing at the age of nine and enjoys writing poetry and stories. She is the author of the Ivana book series which are used in the Nigerian primary school curriculum.
She has also written other children’s books – Wura Gets a Goat, Manna Smells a Rat, Adisa and the Easter show, Abi and the wicked teacher and Is that What It Is? – as well as two novels, F’resyne, and The Horse in the Storm.
She hopes to help bridge the gap in availability of children’s books in Nigeria.
